The Forum was a bustling place in Rome. The Romans did practically everything there: shopping, watched games and plays, and through time, government buildings were built, as well as meeting halls, temples, and monuments. The Forum was huge. Many people worked there, including merchants, bankers, and politicians. Because of this, the Forum was considered to be the heart of Rome.
